MOXI Events started in February 2008 after we decided to take a chance and put our experience and creativity to the test. Us in a nutshell – passionate, industry respected and inspiring, with a little flair and fun-loving all mixed together. Why event planning – we are both intrigued by challenge and energized by the ever-changing stature of event ‘choreography’ as we refer to it.
We think the two of us strike a good balance – the task/design master(s). But to add a little honest insight, we thought it best to describe each other…
Emily’s take – LAURA should be on game shows with her photographic memory and amazing eye for details. She brings ‘operational’ to ‘wow’ and gives meaning to flawless event. (No kidding – ask her, she probably truly knows your brother’s uncle).
Laura’s take – EMILY is always ON. She brings genius to ideas, whenever/however they may come to inspire (she should truly own stock in Post-its). She never uses the word ‘can’t’ and has a contagious energy that she brings to all those around her.
Together, we fit the pieces of the puzzle and bring the MOXI difference. You see, we are truly lucky because we love our work – not many people can say that! We love bringing something special to our clients and we love inspiring that same passion for what we do in our staff and event partners or people we work with. Rest assured, we surround ourselves with the best of the best, and in turn our clients always get the best from us.
Oh and one other thing – we come with credentials. We have CMP certification (Certified Meeting Professional), and MOXI is a certified Women Owned Business recognized through WBENC (Women’s Business Enterprise National Council). So if our talent wasn’t enough, we can help meet your vendor diversity requirements for the year.
