Earlier this summer we helped put on a financial summit for a Top Regional Financial Firm. This event takes places in two cities – Dallas & Kansas City – and focuses on 401 (k). This is the 8th annual financial summit, and we have been able to help with all 8 years!
In Dallas, the event was held at the Gaylord Texan. We’ve used this property before and think it is the perfect fit for this group. While in Kansas City, the summit is held at the Overland Park Convention Center. Overall, there were more than 350 guests total in attendance. Along with the attendees there are over 20 sponsors at the event from multiple different companies. They each have booths set up in the sponsor exhibit area.
Each cities Summit had a kick-off dinner. The Kansas City kick-off dinner was at the new Museum at Prairiefire. We love this property! It is so versatile and exactly what we were looking for while doing this dinner. There is an amazing T-Rex on display and we opened up a fun, interactive exhibit that the guests could explore throughout the night.

For each summit we brought in industry experts to speak from Los Angeles, New York City, Dallas, and Kansas City. One hurdle we faced was a speaker’s flight got cancelled the night before the summit. Moxi quickly fixed the situation by having the speaker virtually present through Skype. It worked out perfect and the attendees were so happy they still got to hear what the speaker had to say!

Each year this event keeps growing and we are incredibly thankful to be a part of it. We can’t wait for next year!
