The women of Moxi recently planned a one-night incentive trip that brought together the top car dealers from Southern California. The guests stayed at the luxurious five-star hotel, The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, CA. The rooms were one bedroom bungalows and each had beautiful views of the golf course and ocean.

The evening started with dinner in a private room at Morton’s The Steakhouse, a nationally recognized fine-dining restaurant.

Next the guests experienced the highlight of the trip, a shopping spree at Bloomingdales in Costa Mesa. The store stayed open after hours with full staff for the group to shop. When the guests arrived, the staff had the garage door to the store closed. As they opened it, the entire Bloomingdale’s staff was cheering, passing out champagne on trays and the attendees ran into the store to get their shopping on! This automotive company gave away $200,000 to Bloomingdale’s.
Moxi had a fun incentive throughout the night to make sure the dealers shopped and spent their gift cards. $30,000 additional was given away for the guests who spent the first $1500 in designer handbags, first $750 in luggage, the couple that spent their gift cards first.[caption id="attachment_1132" align="alignright" width="300"] The entrance of Bloomingdale’s for the shopping spree[/caption]
Additionally, we branded Bloomingdale’s with the company’s logo on clings throughout the store, gobos, logo pillows, etc. We had a DJ for atmospheric music and tray passed hors d’oeuvres and desserts and cocktails. When the guests returned to their room, they received a bottle of wine and a Coravin wine opener as their amenity.
