This incentive trip was a one-night trip for a National Construction Company’s employees and their families. The trip was at the prestigious Broadmoor Hotel & Resort in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The goal of this trip was for the company’s employees and families to escape from the stresses of everyday life. While doing this we wanted to make them feel appreciated and rewarded for all of their hard work and be making memories with their families at the same time.
Our client wanted their employees to feel as if they were on ‘Oprah’s Favorite Things’ and be showered with gifts and surprises for the duration of their stay. Upon the guests’ arrival, waiting in their rooms were custom shirts and custom balloons for the children that were both branded with the program logo. Guests were greeted at the Hospitality Suite after they checked in with a pop-up shop where they could choose between the following items: His and Her Patagonia Pullovers, vests, or jackets, Bose Bluetooth Soundlink Speakers, His or Her Designer Sunglasses, Handbags, or YETI Hopper Coolers. While the parents shopped, kids enjoyed light snacks, treats, and had fun playing on the air hockey table!
Later that evening, the children had their own fun at the Bee Bunch Children’s Program while their parents were able to enjoy an evening out at the Cheyenne Lodge. This is located on the side of the mountain with breathtaking views and just a short drive from the main property. At the Children’s Program, the kids were greeted with a Mobile Zoo from Cheyenne Mountain Zoo where they were able to learn, pet, and hold various animals. Next, they enjoyed a custom buffet created just for kids. For dessert, they were able to create their very own cake pop creations. They completed their evening with interactive games, crafts, and a movie.
Parents were able to relax easy knowing their children were taken care of and enjoy an evening out at the Cheyenne Lodge. The evening festivities included a cocktail reception, delicious dinner with wine pairing, and a S’more’s buffet that guests could indulge over multiple fire pits. Entertainment included performances from Spinphony, a well-known DJ, and a custom cigar roller. Other features throughout the evening included beer pong and giant jenga!
That evening, as they returned to their room, a special surprise awaited each guest: a bottle of wine with a gift card for their family to enjoy an evening out at home and a Xbox gaming console for the children.
The next day included a buffet breakfast and professional family photographs with a print shop where guests could immediately take home an edited 8X10 photo. After this they got to enjoy a preselected activity which included: Pikes Peak Cog Railway Tour, Spa, Day at Leisure, Golf, and the Kids Program. Box lunches were also available for guests to enjoy at their leisure.
As the guests check out, they had one last surprise awaiting them: a Microsoft Surface Pro that completed their trip!
