We recently took a 3 night, 4 day inventive trip to Dorado Beach, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve. This property was absolutely amazing and exceeded our expectations! Each couple had a room that was over 1,000 sq. feet with their own private plunge pool. It was very secluded and exclusive feeling.
When the guests arrived we had an ultra-lux pop up shop with a Mar Y Sol beach bag, sunscreen, recovery kit, OuiKai flip flops for him, Jack Rogers flip flops for her, swimsuit cover ups for her and a choice of Gucci or Kate Spade sunglasses for the ladies and Costa Delmar glasses for the men.
The first night guests enjoyed a welcome reception at the Surf Lawn at Dorado Beach. The next night the group dinner was at Marmalade with a 12 course tasting menu and wine pairing. The chef visited with the group at length.
The final night dinner was on property at Su Casa. It was the original owners house on property and is now the Presidential Suite. The guests sat under a clear top tent with a beautiful seated dinner overlooking the ocean. We had a cigar roller and rummelier for the guests to enjoy.
A few of the favorite daytime activities include: Spa Botanico, private culinary class, deep sea fishing, Ambassadors of the Environment snorkeling & kayaking and the Old San Juan tour.
Guests returned home with his/her Apple watches, Tory Burch scarves, Rum infused chocolates and the famous White Bean Truffle Soup recipe from Marmalade.
Overall the trip went incredibly well! An unexpected highlight was that Jimmy Fallon stayed at the hotel and our guest caught several glimpses of him during their stay! Another successful Moxi trip for the books!
