Recently we took an incentive trip to a Rosewood Resort that is located on a private island off the coast of Antigua. This is one of the most AMAZING properties we have had the opportunity to take a group too. There are 40 spacious, oceanfront rooms that take relaxation to the next level. To help with tricky flight times, we chartered a private plane, with First Class Service on board, for the top producers to expedite their trip. Since the island is private, you can only get there via ferry from Antigua.
Before the trip even started, we had a beautiful coffee table book sent to everyone’s home that was filled with photos of the private island. This was a great way to get the clients familiar with the area and even more excited for the trip. Upon arrival a pop-up shop was set up where attendees got to select from a wide assortment of Tory Burch flip flops for the women, and Oui Kai flip flops for the men. Along with this, there was an assortment of swim trunks for them to choose from as well as designer cover ups for the women.
Our nightly amenities included a wide variety of surprises for the attendees. They received a custom watercolor of the private island area, a Mar Y Sol beach bag filled with Sun Bum sunscreen and Swell water bottles, Fugoo waterproof/sand proof speaker, Michael Aram silver frame with the couples’ photo, and a custom pottery piece from a local artist along with chocolate truffles.
We had the opportunity to take the attendees on some amazing activities. The activities consisted of helicopter tours, snorkeling, America’s Cup sailing, deep sea fishing, and private picnic lunches on the beach. An unexpected highlight that was while deep sea fishing, the guests caught a ton of fish and the chefs on the property grilled them up for delicious fish tacos that the group got to enjoy!
Our evening functions were one of our favorite parts of the trip. We had a welcome reception at the Pool Grille onsite. We also did a sunset cruise that was followed by dine arounds at some of the very best restaurants in Antigua. On our last night there we had a group dinner at one of the Estate Homes. It was amazing! The house is located right on the beach so the guest got to dine with the sounds of waves crashing on the beach. We had a local Antiguan carnival performance to give the attendees one last taste of the island.
Overall the trip was flawless. We are looking forward to going back soon!
